Since Saskatchewan wont adopt daylight savings time, I've been missing out on some spectacular sunsets happening right as I'm leaving work at 5pm.  Clearly I'm gonna have to knock off early tomorrow...

this was shot in my dining room at 11pm... the "cloudy sky" in the background is a reflection of the textured ceiling (the wall is a mirror) and the "setting sun" is the dining room light fixture.  The twigs are just part of the decor, from ikea.

Not everyday promises the opportunity for outstanding creative achievement in photography and I make no apologies for that. The point is to get out there everyday and shoot something.

It may be day 246 of 2009, but for me this is day 1 for this project, and I'm okay with that. Starting late is better than never starting at all.
